Kapow

Kapow is a company that provides an API (application program interface) called Katalyst to migrate digital content in the cloud between diverse applications or databases. Katalyst acts as a cloud integrator and automates the ETL (extract, transform, load) process.

On the Internet, integration projects often require working simultaneously with multiple data sources and applications, most of which lack published APIs. Katalyst can eliminate problems with missing APIs at the presentation layer, the application layer, and the database layer.

Kapow! (with an exclamation mark) is an app that facilitates the reading of graphic novels or comics on smartphones, in effect making those devices act like miniature eBook readers. The Kapow! app scales content optimally in either the portrait mode or the landscape mode. In addition, images can be resized to minimize the amount of bandwidth that they consume, making pages load faster.
